Barbara McMurray is the President and CEO of the IHC. She has more than 20 years of senior management experience and a broad understanding of the international housing industry and the challenges faced by the urban poor in the developing world. McMurray most recently served as Senior Vice President of the National Association of Home Builders for 11 years including serving as the Chief Executive of four major divisions of the organization.  She led two major membership divisions of the organization to unprecedented financial growth. While serving as the Secretariat of the International Housing Association, the organization’s income and donations grew 60% within one year. At NAHB McMurray also managed a cadre of volunteers and worked with a board of 2,400. She has extensive experience creating and developing educational programs and special events, both domestically and internationally.

Anjali Bean is the Program Manager for the International Housing Coalition. Anjali graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. Majoring in Environmental Studies and International Relations, with a focus on sustainable development. Prior to joining the IHC, Anjali worked for Habitat for Humanity International’s Government Relations and Advocacy office.
