Janet Branton is a Senior Vice President of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) for Global Business and Alliances. Since she began working for NAR in 2000, Janet has also served as the Vice President for Business Specialties, Executive Director for the Real Estate Buyers’ Agent Council and Executive Vice President for the REALTORS® Land Institute. She also serves as NAR’s representative to the international Real Property Foundation (IRPF) Board of Directors.
For 13 years before joining NAR, Janet served as an association executive for three local real estate associations in South Florida, including the REALTORS® Association of the Palm Beaches, Marco Island Area Association of REALTORS® and the Naples Area Board of REALTORS®. She holds the prestigious Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives and the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation from NAR.
Jane Katz is Director of International Affairs and Programs at Habitat for Humanity International’s Washington, DC Government Relations and Advocacy Office, where she provides program and policy support on a variety of housing finance and related issues. Prior to coming to Habitat, she spent 14 years at Fannie Mae and 15 years working in mortgage finance, regulatory oversight and housing policy at the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Congressional Research Service of the Library of Congress. She received an M.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Cincinnati.
