Board of Directors

Bob Dubinsky is the chairman of the board of directors of the International Housing Coalition (IHC.) Untll July 2011 he was the IHC President and CEO. He is experienced in all facets of project manage­ment and research, specializing in project design and implementation, program evaluation and manage­ment, and policy and institutional analysis. Prior to joining the IHC, Dubinsky was a housing, local government and urban development consultant and policy analyst. Previously he managed local government, urban development and housing projects for the International City/County Management Association in Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania and the former Soviet Union.and worked for USAID in Washington, Israel, Jamaica and throughout the Caribbean. He is a graduate from Harvard College with honors.

Calvin Lindberg represents the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) on the IHC Board. He is a realtor from Vancouver, Canada and served as President of CREA in 2008. He has more than 23 years experience in residential real estate.

Marc Weiss is Chairman and CEO of Global Urban Development (GUD), an international policy organization and professional network of 600 leaders and experts in 60 countries.  He serves as Adjunct Professor of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, Executive Editor of GUD Magazine, and Chairman of Metropolitan Economic Strategy LLC.

He previously served as a Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and Special Assistant to the Secretary of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. He has been an adviser on Metropolitan Economic Strategy and sustainable and inclusive economic, business, employment, and community development for cities, regions, and states in the US and throughout the world

Dr. Weiss is the author or co-author of many books, articles, and reports, including a The Rise of the Community Builders, and a best-selling international textbook, Real Estate Development Principles and Process. Dr. Weiss earned an MCP and a PhD in City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA with Honors in Political Science from Stanford University.

Susan Corts Hill is a former President and CEO of the International Housing Coalition.  Prior to her position at the IHC, she worked as the Director of Public Policy at Habitat for Humanity International, with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and a supportive housing developer in New York City, and as an attorney in private practice.  She received a B.A. from Samford University, M.P.A. from New York University, and  J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Washington, DC and is member of the bar in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Brad Miller Brad Miller is a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress and counsel to the law firm of Grais & Ellsworth LLP. He served for a decade in the U.S. House of Representatives and eight years in the North Carolina legislature.

As a member of the House Financial Services Committee, Brad led efforts to enact financial reform legislation, including legislation to prohibit predatory mortgage lending and create the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, or CFPB. Mr. Miller also served on the House Foreign Relations Committee and as the Chairman of the Investigations and Oversight Subcommittee of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology.

Brad received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a master’s degree from the London School of Economics, and a law degree from Columbia University. He served as law clerk to Judge J. Dickson Phillips Jr. of the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Christopher Vincent  represents Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) on the IHC Board. He is currently the Vice President of  Government Relations and Advocacy at HFHI. He began working with HFHI in the Latin America/Caribbean Department in 1997 and moved to the Habitat office in Costa Rica in 1998. He has been working with HFHI in Washington, DC since 2000.  He has worked on issues ranging from national partnerships, international program support, budgets, high-profile events and congressional relations. He graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a double major in International Studies and Anthropology.

David Wluka represents the National Association of Realtors on the IHC Board. He has been a Realtor for more than 35 years, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Urban Land Institute, and the American Planning Association. Mr. Wluka has served and chaired committees at NAR including the Land Use, Property Rights & Environment Committee, the Smart Growth Working Group, the State & Local Issues Committee, the Public Policy Coordinating Committee, and the Housing Opportunity Committee.

A the state level, Mr. Wluka was the 2006 President of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, chaired the Quality of Life Working Group and has spoken nationally on Smart Growth Issues.  Mr. Wluka has provided real estate consulting services to municipalities, government agencies, land owners and developers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine since 1968. Mr. Wluka is a Boston University alumnus from which he received a both a bachelor’s degree and a Masters in Urban Sociology.
